The Draper is a love story. A love for architecture, a love for functional design and a love for all things mid century modern. It’s a time capsule containing all the hope and wonder of the design revolution of the mid century movement, providing a rare respite from the demands of modern living-but with the comforts we now expect.

Built in 1957, this California Dream Home exudes romance, nostalgia and playfulness. The inside/outside design honors California and Iowa-5 minutes from the airport and less than 10 from our vibrant downtown.

We didn’t use the kitchen much since we were out and about, but the space itself was very comfortable and easy to settle into. Meghan really went above and beyond with thoughtful touches like soft towels, toiletries, sound machines, and other amenities you don’t always expect but truly appreciate when they’re there.
